The Southern California Mediation Association’s attorney outreach committee presents a FREE one-hour webinar on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 12 noon to 1 pm PST, as we explore ways to locate, organize and present relevant documents in construction and real estate mediations. The panel will address (1) the importance of utilizing available documents in construction and real estate mediation (including virtual mediations), (2) how best to utilize the discovery process prior to mediation, and (3) how to avoid the problems that typically occur in a document-heavy mediation environment, especially during this age of virtual mediations (such as those conducted via Zoom).
The panel features two outstanding professionals, one mediator and one practicing attorney, with vast experience in the field of construction and real estate litigation: mediator Wendy Fassberg, Esq. of Fassberg Mediation Services, Inc. and attorney David J. Sire, Esq. of Feldman & Associates, Inc. Craig C. Lang, Esq., co-chair of the SCMA Attorney Outreach Committee and Board Secretary of SCMA, will moderate.
This program is available to any mediators and attorneys (including non-members of SCMA) who have ever, or will ever, mediate disputes that involve large volumes of documents. Supporting reading materials will be distributed before the program to all who register.
This event qualifies for one hour of California MCLE.
